Q. Plastic surgery and Dental Tourism that is interesting, what about the prices?
A. You have a pre-assessment by a qualified doctor or dentist in your home town and complete the attached questionnaire on the free quote page of this website. This is then presented in advance to an appropriate physician or dentist at the hospital and you are given an estimated cost. Obviously this is not an exact science and each individual's procedures will be unique but in most cases the hospitals estimates will be accurate. The procedures will be the only variable since your air fare and accommodations will be fixed and will be provided to you along with the estimated cost of your procedure(s). If you wish you can also wait until you get to Shanghai and get a free consultation and estimate in the hospital.
Q. Can I claim this on my insurance?
A. Dental and acupuncture procedures are sometimes covered either all or in part. Plastic surgery is not covered on standard policies, unless it is considered reconstructive surgery. When in doubt ask your insurance provider
Q. How do I know that I am getting highly trained medical and dental professionals?
A. Our staff have also inspected the facilities, and researched the credentials of the surgeons and dentists that will be undertaking your procedures. You can see their resumes on this site under, “Doctors Resumes”.
Q. What kind of cost savings can we expect to receive?
A. Each procedure is different and prices will very depending on where you now reside. On average you will be spending 25 to 35 % of what you would have to pay in North America or Europe.

Q. Do we have a choice of accommodation?
A. Yes we can book you into 3, 4, or 5 star hotels. These hotels have been inspected and stayed in by members or our staff. If you are in need of a quiet retreat while you recuperate from an operation, we have two resort hotels less than an hours drive to the hospital in Shanghai.
Q. How does Nip and Tuck get paid?
A. We have done our homework and negotiated volume discounts on hotels, air travel and the hospital fees. We get paid a finders fee by the hospital which has no effect on your rate. You are guaranteed (See our Guarantee Policy) to get better prices through us than if you were to undertake a similar trip on your own. Apart from you incurring higher costs, arrangements at the hospital would be extremely difficult to make on your own because of the language, waiting lists and pre assessment arrangements. The hotels, (because of their location) are very much in demand and difficult to book on short notice. We are confident that once you become aware of our attention to detail you will not even want to consider doing it on your own. We are also confident that you will want to spread the good news to your family and friends.
